Infection for a vagina after sex...?

I had sex with a condom for the first time recently and it burned during intercourse and when we tried without one right after, it burned more. Now my vagina hole is swollen and dry. It feels stretched out, itchy, and very irritated. However, I'm not discharging at all and I haven't in days. I'm on an antibiotic for an Urinary Tract Infection I had a few days ago and I'll start my period in a few days. I know that if this were a yeast infection, which I'm very prone to getting, it will only thrive during my period. Do you think it's a yeast infection? What could it be?
