Should I switch my major from film to communications?

I plan to graduate in December 2011. I am a film major, but recently decided I wanted to go more into communications (news, t.v., public relations, advertising, etc). The college I attend does not have a communications program, and I would have to transfer to a school that is a lot more expensive if I want to get a degree in communications. I'm just wondering if it's worth the money to transfer after I graduate to get a degree in communications, or should I try and find a job in communications even if I have a film degree? Would it be better to have a degree in communications rather than film in terms of job prospects? Like I said, I have one more semester before I graduate so I don't know if it's worth all the time and money to transfer.
