What is the advantage of a "second to die" life insurance policy as opposed to a regular individual term?

Um....you can't ever make a claim on your own second-to-die policy. If he dies and then you die, which what would need to happen to trigger the benefit, then somebody else gets the benefit. It pays when the 2nd person dies. It's used in estate planning situations.
