Why do atheists have contempt for people of faith, yet their belief in abiogenesis is totally based on faith?

Atheists believe the prevailing scientific theory that life came about with no Intelligent Designer or Creator - that life arose randomly -- even though the simplest living organism requires 1 million written pages of instructions/information (if in written form) and all information must be carried out perfectly and in the most complex manner imaginable for the cell to live, thrive, procreate etc. Yet they don't even question it and they have time to mock and ridicule Christians? Why can't they see the plank in their own eye? We believe by faith; yet they say you must have evidence; yet they have NONE. LOL If they have evidence why can't they manufacture an environment that would cause a cell to arise randomly with no outside intelligence etc.
