Is there any free antivirus compatible with Android 3.1 Honeycomb ?!?

Hey, I pre-ordered the TOSHIBA THRiVE Tablet, it's running Android 3.1 Honeycomb, so I was wondering if I should get an antivirus, I looked up some, but they all seem to be designed for smartphones, so will they run normally on a 10.1 inch tablet, with no graphical glitches?!?! And I read that android is Linux based so I don't need an antivirus, is it true?!
